PM Rama discovered today a message sent by his counterpart, Albin Kurti, asking for assistance regarding the vaccination of teaching staff in Kosovo.
“We are proud to have the chance to help Kosovo. The PM of Kosovo, Albin Kurti sent me a message thanking me and asking regarding the possibility, since Kosovo has received several thousand doses for the vaccination of their medical staff, to have Albania help them with the inoculation of their teaching personnel. To which I said yes, certainly” stated Rama.
From Rrogozhina, where he was holding a meeting with local farmers, the head of state accused the former-PM, Sali Berisha for spreading panic amongst citizens regarding the efficacy of the vaccine.
“Sali comes out telling people not to get the vaccine; he calls on people telling them that the vaccine kills, he calls on people saying that vaccines are expired,” said the PM.
Rama also commented on the large gatherings during the campaigns organized by the leader of DP, Lulzim Basha. While calling DP’s gatherings hotbeds for the spread of the virus, according to Rama, Albania has turned into a vaccination center.
“We are one of the two countries in the region that have started massive vaccination and we are vaccinating at a rate that will soon make it possible for us to be listed on the first ranks of vaccination charts in the whole of Europe; we will be amongst those countries vaccinating the most,” said Rama.
