The US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim has saluted the news of the qualification of the first 28 investigators of the National Bureau on Investigation (NBI).
While sharing the US embassy’s post on Twitter, Kim has also posted a message regarding recent developments in the justice system.
Ambassador Kim asserted that SPAK is confiscating assets and putting criminals behind the bars. She emphasized that the Constitutional Court is operating and the High Court as well, is dealing with ongoing investigations.
“SPAK is prosecuting more, seizing assets and putting criminals behind bars; The Const Ct is functioning; High Ct is hearing cases; vetting continues. NBI inspectors are training. Justice Reform is not easy, quick or perfect, but it’s moving forward -even if the bad guys don’t want it to,” wrote the ambassador.
