During a visit to a healthcare clinic in Berat, Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu declared that starting off Friday, vaccines will also be administered to reporters and camera crews.

“From tomorrow we’ll continue to vaccinate police officers, starting off from Tirana and then extending the campaign across the country. This afternoon we’ll start with the inoculation of reporters and camera crews”, stated the health minister.

Prime Minister Edi Rama called on citizens to not be afraid of the Chinese jab because according to him, it is “very successful” and it is being used in many countries.

“The Chinese jab Sinovac is very successful, it is pulling Turkey out of the tunnel of the pandemic and it’s among the most preferred in the wealthy Middle Eastern countries”, said Rama.

“The fact that it has not entered in the EU is not related to the efficiency of the vaccine, but for other reasons beyond our interest”, added the head of the executive.
