Albania recorded 336 new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours, meanwhile six patients succumbed to the virus.
Authorities confirmed that the victims were from the age of 47 to 83 years old.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 2.247 people have died from COVID-19 in Albania while the country counts over 125.000 positive cases.
At present, there are 276 patients receiving medical treatment in hospitals in Tirana as well as across the region, of which 12 in intensive wards, according to data provided by health authorities.
So far, more than 92.500 citizens have recovered from COVID-19, an additional 625 from yesterday’s figures.
According to estimates, the number of active infections stands at 31,095, mainly concentrated in Tirana, respectively around 21.700 active cases.
