Eleven citizens have lost their lives today in Kosovo as a result of Covid-19. Numbers were published by the National Institute of Public Health (IKSHPK), who also emphasized that out of 4718 tests conducted today, 512 came out positive.
Since the onset of the pandemic, 1926 citizens have lost their lives in Kosovo, most of whom with underlying health conditions. In the past 24 hours, 524 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 77.957.
The most affected communes in terms of new-daily cases are the following: Prishtina (185 cases), Gjakova (39 cases), Ferizaj (37), Gjilan (37), Peja (37), Mitrovica (25), Podujeva (22) and Fushe-Kosovo (21).
Kosovo’s government gathered today in order to evaluate the current situation of the pandemic and to discuss on the restrictive measures, which are meant to contribute to breaking the chain of infections.
