April 25 elections, Matthew Palmer “virtually meets” Albanian political leaders

The United States Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Mattew Palmer, will make a “virtual visit” to Albania to discuss with the main political figures of the country.

The news was confirmed by the US Embassy in Tiran through a social media post.

The main topic of discussion will be the priorities of the US as well as expectations on the general elections.

Mattew Palmer is also the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State.

The high US functionary is set to discuss with President Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama, and the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha.

After these meetings, Palmer will be open to questions from journalists who attended exchange and training courses in the United States.
