LDK leader, Lumir Abdixhiku cast his vote today at Prishtina’s ‘Faik Konica’ school. Accompanied by his spouse, Abdixhiku wished everyone, on the day of the 2021 local elections, to have the process go on as smoothly as possible while adding that this day should be considered a celebration because it returns the power of decision-making back to the citizens of Kosovo.

“Today is a day of celebration because the citizens’ decision-making power is returned to them. There’s nothing better or more beautiful than when citizens choose to decide about their own futures. I wish that we can have this day go on as smoothly as possible and end the same way. I especially would like to wish the 41 000 newly eligible voters, that are exercising their democratic right for the first time today, in a society that is blessed and that is good,” – said Abdixhiku.

Abdixhiku also extended his admiration for the press and CEC, for their contribution in having this day prevail in the best way possible.
