The Administrative Court has annulled the decision of the Assembly that expelled the deputies of the Democratic Party for a period of 40 and 60 days.
The DP MPs had appealed the disciplinary measures and with this Wednesday’s decision, the Court accepted their request, rejecting the punishments.
The decision given is of temporary execution, which means that it is effective immediately.
The Parliamentary Group of the DP has described this decision as a victory, stressing that the Speaker of the Assembly has violated the Constitution and the Assembly’s regulations.
“The Administrative Court has annulled the decision of Elisa Spiropali, who, in violation of the Constitution and the rules of the assembly, expelled the opposition from the Assembly. The decision was given with temporary execution, so it is applied immediately”, says the announcement of the DP group.
