The Tirana Local Police Directorate, following investigative actions related to the blocking of traffic by opposition protesters, has arrested 1 citizen for the criminal offense of “Obstructing the circulation of means of transport”.

So far, 33 citizens, all residents of Tirana, have been prosecuted for the criminal offenses of “Obstructing the circulation of means of transport” and “Disturbance of public peace”.

Efforts are being made to arrest 2 more people and 3 vehicles have also been declared wanted.

As material evidence, 2 vehicles were seized which were used to block the road yesterday.

The materials were passed to the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime for further action.
