Tirana’s Court of Appeal has set the date when the three air traffic controllers arrested more than two weeks ago for allegedly organizing the walkout that halted several flights at Tirana International Airport.
The controllers appealed the ruling of the first instance court.
On April 27, Armando Fevzga, Muhin Mezini, and Flora Ndreca will seek a more lenient punishment.
Three weeks ago, the Court of Tirana sentenced to prison Armando Fezga and Muhin Mezini, while Flora Ndreca was left on “house arrest”.
