Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka alongside the Italian Ambassador Fabrizio Bucci signed on Thursday an agreement for the mutual recognition of driving licenses in both countries.
The deal was announced earlier by minister Xhaçka during the meeting held last week with her Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio, where both countries agreed on one of the most influential deals for thousands of Albanian that live and work in Italy.
“It’s precisely these actions that although seemingly small in the grand scheme of democracy have the most tangible and direct impact on our citizens,” Minister Xhaçka said after the meeting.
Mutual recognition of driving licenses will create a great ease of movement between the two countries and increase communication.
