The Technical Committee of Experts convened today to review current pandemic measures.

The Committee announced that it had decided to proceed with the inoculation of a booster dose for citizens older than 60 years old starting from 1 November.

In addition, the committee decided to lower the vaccine eligibility age from 18 to 16.

Other measures, including a nationwide curfew starting 11 PM to mandatory masks in indoor public spaces, will remain unchanged.

The deputy health minister noted that the inoculation of unvaccinated citizens remains a top priority.
