The polygraph, or also known as the lie detector test, has ended up at the Constitutional Court.
The Albanian Helsinki Committee (AHC) has filed a lawsuit calling the test “unconstitutional” as well as a violation of human rights.
The Constitutional Court announced that the session that was to be held on the 23 of March has been postponed to a later date.
Polygraph examination was used in Albania during the process of electing the head of the National Bureau of Investigation and for the vetting of the employees of the State Police workers.
