A brutal murder took place in Ampelokipi, Athens, on Thursday afternoon. According to information, a 39-year-old man of Albanian origin killed his wife with a hammer.

The incident took place in the Ampelokipi area on Lakonias street 19 and the suspected perpetrator notified the police himself, saying that he killed the woman and kept her in the attic.

It is suspected that after the woman died, he kept the victim’s body for at least a week in the apartment.
