A 24-year-old man of Albanian origin lost his life in a car accident that happened around 11.30 pm yesterday evening in the city of Imola, in Italy.

The Ansa news agency writes that the young Albanian was traveling as a passenger in a Mercedes CLK type vehicle, which, after an unexpected deviation, went off the road and collided with a tree.

The reasons why the driver lost control of the vehicle, leaving the interurban road, are not known yet.

The 24-year-old, who was in the right front seat, was pulled out by rescuers.

While the driver, a 23-year-old Albanian and a 19-year-old of Romanian origin who was in the back seats were injured.

The causes and exact dynamics of the accident are being investigated by the Local Police of Imola.
