Isuf Koka, the Albanian man who pointed a gun at hooligans in order to protect his hotel in Skopje, now risks going to prison for 5 years.

Koka will be kept in custody until trial. In total, the Macedonian Prosecution has pressed charges on 12 protestors who either hurt police officers or vandalized public property.

Koka’s father gave an exclusive interview for Euronews Albania a few days ago, during which he said that his son was only trying to protect his business from protestors who were going to damage and vandalize it.

On the other hand, the leader of the Macedonian opposition Hristijan Mickoski publicly accused Koka of having been ordered to take him out – an allegation which was categorically denied by both the police and Koka’s father.

North Macedonia’s minister of interior Oliver Spasovksi has also publicly denied the accusations made by Hrisjan Mickovksi calling them groundless.
