Care packages containing food, clothes, medication are only some of the first donations being made by Albanian citizens at the Ukrainian Embassy.
Everyone is donating what they can and making a public appeal for all citizens to join this initiative. Even children are making their symbolic donations for their peers in war-struck Ukraine.
Citizens in Tirana have immediately answered the call for help made by the Ukrainian Embassy.
This was the first day of the collection of donations, meanwhile, the Embassy’s spokesperson Juna Gejdacik told Euronews Albania that they’ve received numerous phone calls from cities all over the country that want to send in their donations as well.
