Albanians have more confidence in international organizations than in state institutions.

Asked by Barometer in Euronews Albania, the American Embassy ranks first as the institution with the highest reliability with 33.2%, followed by the EU delegation with 30.7% and the OSCE with 23%.

After the internationals are religious leaders, who have managed to secure with great confidence 23%.

In the list of the most reliable state institutions is the Central Election Commission with 18.6%.

Although it manages the budget of all Albanians, the government has only 18.5% of their trust.

Albanians have very little faith even in those who should be their defense lawyers, the opposition with only 17.3%, the media with 18.1% and Civil Society with 16.1%.

Meanwhile, the Police, which has the task of maintaining order and security, has only 16.1% of citizens’ trust.

Next is the institution of the President with 15.2%. The list goes down with local government having only 14.5% of trust.

When it comes to SPAK, although it has been trumpeted a lot by internationals, it has a much lower ranking than the latter for the level of trust that Albanians have in this institution is only 14.2%.

In the last three places, Parliament is ranked with 7.4%, the courts with 7.4% and the political parties with 6%.

The ranking for the level of distrust that Albanians have for their institutions is led by political parties with 64.2%, followed by the opposition with 30.7%, the government with 51.6%, local government with 48.7%, the parliament with 48.4%, the courts with 46.2%, the president with 39.1%, SPAK with 38.9%, the police with 37.5%, CEC with 36%, the media with 33.9%, religious leaders with 32.8%, Civil Society with 30.9%, the American Embassy with 21%, the OSCE with 17.8% and the EU Delegation with 17.3%.

The American Embassy, ​​although the most reliable institution for Albanians, has had a swing in the last month from 36.9% in September to 33.2%. Likewise, the EU delegation in September 38% and in October 30.7%

But, when it comes to the level of trust towards the US Embassy and the EU delegation, there is a big political divide.

American Ambassador Yuri Kim is the most reliable for voters on the left where 59.1% trust her, 31% are neutral and only 8.7% do not trust her.

On the other hand, Democrats have a completely different approach as only 15.8% of them trust the ambassador, 29.4% are neutral and 53.8% of DP voters do not trust her.

The approach to EU ambassador Christiane Hohmann is different, which is also more reliable for socialists, (59.6%), 32.3% are neutral and only 7.3% do not believe her. On the other hand, only 23% of Democrats believe her, 36.6% are neutral and 40.1% do not believe her.
