The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has congratulated Albania through a post on the X platform for the opening of the first chapters of EU membership negotiations.

“Congratulations to Albania for opening the first chapters of EU membership negotiations. The path of the Western Balkans towards the EU is the key to achieving prosperity and peace both for the region and for Europe as a whole”, Kurti writes.

Albania opened this Tuesday in Luxembourg the first group-chapter of negotiations with the European Union.

This group of chapters affects essential areas such as: justice, judiciary, functioning of democratic institutions, public procurement or public administration reform.
