Democratic MP Enkelejd Alibeaj reacted in regards to a statement made earlier this Friday by DP leader Sali Berisha who accused Alibeaj of acting as a representative of the Socialist majority.

Through a post on his social media account, Alibeaj reminded Berisha that in the past, even though he had declared former PM Fatos Nano an enemy, he continued to make deals with him.

According to Alibeaj, with Berisha as leader, the Democratic Party continues to be torn apart, adding that the only way that Edi Rama can be overthrown is through a united opposition.

On July 7, DP organized a protest at Deshmoret e Kombit Blvd in front of the PM’s Office.

During his word, Berisha said that him and PM Rama are sworn enemies because in contrast to Rama, for him freedom is an ideal and his goal is to return dignity back to Albanian citizens.
