The Democratic Party MP, Ina Zhupa, stated that the group that supports Enkelejd Alibeaj, will not be able to find candidates for the next local elections.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Zhupa underlined that the vote of the Democrats will not be divided.

“The vote of the Democrats will not be divided at all. First, I continue to be convinced that in these 6 months until the final registration, they will not be able to have candidates for 61 municipalities and that no one will agree to go against the democrats and the opposition.

No opposition, no democrat will vote for a candidate who is destined to lose. Even though they know that they have no chance of winning any municipality, they just want to mess things up at this point. Rest assured, they will not be able to find 61 candidates”, she emphasized.

The session at the Court of Appeals, where Enkelejd Alibeaj’s request for the merger of the decisions of DP’s Assemblies of July 17 and December 18, was expected to be considered, has now been postponed.

After the request of Alibeaj’s lawyer, Indri Sefa, to postpone the hearing, the Court of Appeals decided to reconsider the case on November 10.
