The head of DP’s Parliamentary Group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, held a meeting with the British ambassador in Tirana, Alaister King-Smith.

In a reaction on social media, Alibeaj stated that he had asked the British Ambassador for support and technical assistance as it pertains to the Territorial Reform.

Alibeaj also stated that he has discussed with Ambassador Alaister King-Smith the concern of the British government regarding the issue of fiscal amnesty, “golden” passports, and the problem with the illegal immigration of Albanians to Britain.

“I assured the interlocutor of the Democratic Party’s full support for these issues, being seriously engaged in opposing these government initiatives with the limited institutional opportunities that the Albanian opposition has today” – wrote Alibeaj, among other things.
