Following the arrest of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, Anuela Ristani has taken over the role of the municipality’s administrator.

In her first statement after the appointment, Ristani emphasized that Tirana will continue to shine and progress even further.

“Our duty today is to continue making Tirana shine even brighter. We are confident that with the support of the Prime Minister, who has stood by us during these difficult hours, we will regain the lost momentum and keep moving forward. The unexpected blow will not disorient us; on the contrary, it will motivate us,” said Ristani.
