The counting process has wrapped up in several municipalities.
Ardian Muka has been elected as the official candidate of the Re-establishment Commission in Durres, for the local by-elections.
Muka was announced as the official winner just shortly after polls closed in Durres.
1,546 Democrats voted at the primaries. Muka won by a landslide with 1,162 votes. The other candidate, Silvia Gjepali won 373 votes.
Additionally, Lulzim Vrana won in Vora.
While in Diber the winning candidate is Premtim Kryemadhi. 731 Democrats voted at the primaries. 421 cast their ballot for Kryemadhi, 151 for Behar Dema, 121 for Dafina Muda.
In Lushnje, Elton Bano managed to secure the majority of the ballots, while in Rrogozhina the winner is Hekuran Xhani.
Doors to the polls opened at 8 AM in six municipalities. DP members voted at the primaries to pick who will represent them in the by-elections due March 6.
