Some 60% of Albanians out of 8 municipalities did not get the vaccine. Experts from the Public Health Institute say that the majority of the unvaccinated are in the north, but also in Elbasan, Vora, and Kamza.

According to official data from this institute, only 35% of the 18-24 age group is actually vaccinated.

Albania recorded 14 new cases on the last day, but no fatalities.

A few days ago, the Experts’ Committee decided to lift pandemic-related measures in light of the stable epidemiological situation.

From May 1, citizens will no longer be required to wear a mask, both indoor or outdoor and nightclubs will open.

Also, border authorities will not ask travelers to show a green pass, or a negative PCR test, when entering the country.
