Air traffic controllers arrested one week ago, accused of organizing the strike which led to cancelation of all flights at the country’s one international airport, have appealed the decision of the court.
Through their attorney, the air controllers filed this Wednesday the request for a softer security measure.
Through their attorney, they filed a request to ease the measure ruled by the court.
The three air controllers have been charged with abuse of office. As the main evidence against them, the prosecution has telephone interceptions and according to the investigative file, all communications that the controllers have made with each other on the social network, WhatsApp, have been uncovered.
The investigation team based on the conversations has managed to prove that Flora Ndreca, Alehando Fezga and Muhin Mezini have influenced the controllers to fill in the form for temporary incapacity for work.
In some cases, the prosecution says that the suspects have filled out the disability form for their colleagues, while they have debated with those who objected until they persuaded them to sign.
