The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, visited Lushnja this Wednesday to inspect the progress of the new road.
She stated that the work on this road has progressed better than expected. According to her, it was initially planned for the road to open at the beginning of summer, but engineers now estimate that it will be ready in the first month of spring.
“I did not expect it to be completed this early. We anticipated it for the beginning of summer, but it seems that by March 15, it will be ready. There are also new programs that have started testing, as well as the planning of several other road axes that not only connect different areas in terms of infrastructure but also boost the economic development of these areas by enhancing opportunities for mountain tourism and agriculture-related tourism,” Balluku stated.
