Euronews Albania’s electoral survey “Political Barometer”, conducted in collaboration with the company MRB, revealed that the leader of the Democrats has wider support in the county of Durres as opposed to nationwide (38.3%).
University professor Bledi Çeka said that in the county of Durres, Basha appears with the highest likeability quota seen in surveys to date.
According to him, the figures reflect a sort of voter equilibrium that is typical of Durres, as the district has traditionally leaned on the right.
“I believe that Durres has historically had a voting equilibrium which until 2013 was obviously leaning on the right”, Çeka said.
“From the years 2000 to 2013, there was a voter tendency leaning on the right, after 2013 new dynamics came to life. The survey reflects this balance which is broader than the moment. This is the highest quota that Basha has performed”, he concluded.
