The Democratic Party convened the National Council on Sunday, which approved unanimously the resolution proposed by the party’s presidency against the decisions taken at the Assembly of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The council voted to remove from the party functions the names proposed by the presidency.

After this meeting, Basha held a meeting with the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party.

Basha issued guidelines to MPs to stay close to the families and businesses affected by floods in recent days.

The main theme in the meeting was preparations for the National Assembly on December 18.

Basha defined December 18 as a crucial day for the future of the DP where important decisions will be made.

He said that the Assembly will serve to introduce a new model of how the party will function and its political activities.
