The leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha considered his opponent’s invitation as an acceptance of defeat and refused to collaborate.

From Kombinat, where he is continuing his electoral campaign, Basha said that Albania will develop only with his removal from power.

“Edi Rama also knows that Albanians have closed the door, he has accepted his defeat, he wants to co-govern with us. I want to tell him, from Kombinat that there will be no change for Albanians, unless Edi Rama leaves. The change will only come through commitment and the Alliance for Change,” said Basha.

Speaking in front of DP’s supporters in the 6th administrative division, the leader of the democrats said that he is seeing a sense of impatience amongst people to change the course of things in this country.

“They will be ready to be the European generation of a European Albania. I can feel the need for change everywhere. Long lines of people, cars that have come together in order to express their impatience. I ask forgiveness from those that are standing in traffic at this moment, but I can guarantee them that Albania’s standstill will be over on April 25. We will pave the way to the EU, we will do it all together, because we have a plan whose center is the family,” added Basha.

The leader of the democrats also spoke with residents of the area, inviting them to vote on April 25th for number 9 on the ballot.
