DP chair, Lulzim Basha, declared during today’s plenum that the Democratic Party is going through a cleansing process, which involved getting rid of the impurities left behind since the communist regime.
“What’s been happening in our political family, what you’ve seen, is a process of higher legitimization, which includes cleansing a political force of the leftovers of communism and corruption. What you are at the present moment doesn’t represent the aspirations of Albanians Socialists, who aim for a social state, high taxes and high public spendings, which go against DP’s convictions,” – replied Basha during a back-and-forth with the state minister of parliament relations, Elisa Spiropali.
“You are the landfill, which collects all your common interests in organized crimes,” – said Basha.
Earlier, Spiropali underlined that Basha has forced DP into a ‘mad dance’.
“You, Mr. Basha, have lost the chance and privilege of a comeback; this parliamentary majority has stripped you of it,” – said Spiropali.
