Basha’s Congress won’t happen, for as long as last week’s Congress showed that Berisha has the support of the majority of DP’s delegates.

These were analyst Andi Bushati’s claims on tonight’s ‘Shock’ on Euronews Albania, when he gave his take on the Congress called by Lulzim Basha, set to take place this Saturday, on December 18.

“The Pulpit movement has the support of the majority,” – said Bushati.

However, the analyst expressed his doubts about the referendum proposed by Berisha on Lulzim Basha’s dismissal.

“During December 11’th Congress, Berisha called for a referendum in order to make his case more legitimate. This is where I have to say that I have my own doubts. Can a referendum really take place in 4 days?” – he asked.

Lastly, according to Bushati, the time available to observe a referendum not be sufficient.
