Just like the Vlora court, the Special Court Against Organized Crime and Corruption decided the security measure of “prison arrest” for the winning candidate of the coalition “Together We Win” for Himara, Fredi Beleri.

Beleri’s lawyers, who call the arrest and imprisonment unjust, have decided to appeal the decision of the Special Court to the Court of Appeal.

In a statement to the media, lawyer Edmond Dema said that Beleri has sought justice from the court and has not accepted the charges that have been brought against him.

“We claim that there is no reasonable doubt and no bail should be imposed on both of them. They didn’t present any evidence, but they read what the prosecution of Vlora presented, we presented health evidence. The same infiltrator gave it to the police, but this list is not found in the police and prosecutor’s file. They will take him and re-interrogate this person because the arrested person claims that he did not give him anything”, declared the lawyer.
