By Ben Blushi:

Iran’s attack on Israel will be remembered as an event in which the attacker is more feared than the attacked. This is enough to understand that Iran has no other goal than to convince the world that it is a great country that cannot afford to look small and cowardly.

But why did Iran attack Israel

Because two weeks ago, Israel killed several senior Iranian generals in an embassy in Syria. Israel neither denied nor confirmed this murder and in response Iran attacked it on April 14 with 300 drones and missiles.

Many people around the world, myself included, believe that Israel, by killing Iranian generals, actually wanted to set a trap for Iran. He wanted to provoke him to draw him into a military battle as it happened. But Israel’s goal has not been Iran.

No country in the conditions of Israel being attacked every day by Hezbollah, Hamas and Yemen and when most of the countries of the world are pressuring them to stop the clearing of Gaza, in these conditions then why should Israel open a new front for itself with a regional superpower such as Iran.

Why did Israel need this new war front?

There is only one reason. To draw the United States of America into the conflict. This variant is believed by Iran itself, which took care to the last detail that before attacking Israel, it notified America, which of course notified Israel itself. This is like someone calling you and telling you not to go out the window because I want to break your windows.

This reading is enough to understand that Iran is not looking for a bigger war which it can easily lose. Iran is begging Israel to leave it at that and things will go back to the way they were. Iran is more afraid than Israel, which does not want peace with Iran and therefore will continue to provoke it, and this has several internal and external reasons, but above all, it is related to the role of America and the upcoming presidential elections in this country.

Today, Israel looks like a cat feeding two lions, which in this case are the two presidential candidates. Once he offers someone some meat, then he takes it away and vice versa. It is not clear which of the two, Biden and Trump, favors or harms more the crisis between Israel and Iran, but it is certain that Israel is doing this calculation in detail. Israel is seeking to elect its own American president, and Iran knows this as well, which of course does not want a war that helps Israel elect the president it wants.

If every American president will be bad for Iran, not every American president will be equally bad for Israel. Biden and Trump have different approaches to Iran, Gaza and Ukraine, which is necessarily linked to this conflict, because of Russia. America today may not be America after the election. And Israel seeks to participate in the election by hindering or perhaps promoting this change. And that’s why it is using Iran.

Like a piece of meat to feed the lions in the race.

This is the reason that prompted Israel to kill several Iranian generals to force Iran to attack it as it did. Israel begged to be attacked and will do so again.  After all, no one was killed and no window was broken in the first attack. The world moved closer to Israel and turned away from Iran, including America and its Arab neighbors.

Therefore, Israel will continue to set up traps and Iran will continue to fall into the trap. It is a game of cats, lions and some meat, where of course in the end no one will get enough and no one will stop.
