The Democratic Party officially launched its electoral campaign at 7:00 p.m., led by opposition leader Sali Berisha. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to all those present, noting their high turnout.

Berisha described tonight’s campaign opening as one of the most special, as he believes it marks the beginning of a victorious battle.

“Honorable Democrats and opposition supporters of Tirana, noble men and women who have made this square the most beautiful in Albania and in Europe tonight. A heartfelt greeting goes to the candidates of the ‘Great Albania Alliance’ and to Chris LaCivita, chairman of the Republican Party Committee.

In my life, I’ve delivered many speeches, but tonight I am more emotional than ever, seeing free and noble people transmitting the energy of our victory.

‘Great Albania’ is the Albania of your soul, born of your love for us, your love for family, and the ideals of freedom. Imagine the other side—sinful patronage workers. Rama, tonight you’ll have a hard night.

This is one of the most special nights, because tonight we are here to launch our battle—our battle for victory, for a Great Albania, a battle in which Albania rises once again,” said Berisha.
