The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha claimed on Saturday that people, regardless of their party preferences, are dissatisfied with the way Prime Minister Edi Rama is governing the country.
“The revolt and discontent against this regime are burning not only the hearts of Democrats, but I guarantee you that a great portion of citizens without a party preference, including Socialists and other parties”, Berisha said during a press conference at the headquarters of the DP.
Berisha called on building a strong opposition front to address this discontent warning that the country has come under the rule of the monist regime.
“Our duty is to activate and draw them in with our actions. Let’s do everything we can to establish cooperation, identify all organizations, individuals, and allies in order to create an opposition front as soon as possible”, he added.
According to Berisha, Albania is worse than in 1991, referring to the years after the fall of the Communist regime, because PM Rama has seized all powers.
