Berisha calls for protests on July 7: People are in danger

Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha

The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha warned about the dangerous situation threatening Albanians in their workplace and income and urged people to come and protest in Tirana on July 7.

In a press conference outside the parliament, Berisha said the protest will begin at 7 PM.

Berisha said Edi Rama has never been ousted as a result of protests, but warned that will happen soon.

“Albanian citizens feel that they are in great danger starting from their national interest, to their health, work, and finances. A voice from within is telling that they need at all costs to take into their own hands the country’s fate”.

Berisha said he expects massive participation in the protest against the government and current parliament.

“With the installment of a monist regime and the eradication of a check and balance system, the legitimacy of this government has fallen permanently”, added Berisha.
