If the Court of Appeal sides with Enkelejd Alibeaj, who appealed a previous court verdict recognizing the December 11 Assembly as the legitimate one, then the Refoundation Commission will form a new political party.
This was the stance expressed on Monday by journalist Denis Minga on “Now”.
He said Berisha began his nationwide tour in an effort to enhance support from the ground but did not succeed in getting the parliamentary group’s approval.
“The fact that he did not secure the majority of the parliamentary group is one of his defeats”, said Minga.
“Although Berisha does have the bases, what he doesn’t’ have is the majority of the party’s group in parliament, which 35 MPs”, he added.
