Earlier today, former PM Sali Berisha, accompanied by members of the Commission of Refoundation and other supporters, entered DP’s headquarters by force after pushing over the door of one of DP’s conference rooms.
When asked by Euronews Albania’s journalist, Ardit Hoxha regarding the reason why he used force to enter the Democratic headquarters, Berisha said that the fact that DP’s current leader, Lulzim Basha has closed all doors on the premises, is a “shameful act that isn’t up to the minority to impose against the majority”.

“When a minority thinks that they can walk over a majority, it is either a totalitarian minority, a terrorist minority or a thuggish minority, but one thing is for sure that a minority should never try to oppress a majority, but rather, it should accept its dominion within universal rules and norms. The shutting down of doors at DP’s headquarters from Basha is an ugly act – as ugly as the act of bringing in armed exponents and government thugs at the headquarters of the Democrats. This is the home of freedom, not the home of guns,” – said Berisha.
