The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held his final electoral rally this Sunday with the citizens of Fier, where he presented the key points of the DP’s program and called for massive mobilization in the remaining days before the elections.

Berisha described the opposition’s potential victory as “the most magnificent triumph,” emphasizing that it belongs to all Albanians who believe in freedom, dignity, and family values.

In his speech, he highlighted that the DP’s program aims to raise the minimum pension to 200 euros, the minimum wage to 500 euros, and to approve a special status for miners.

According to him, this is a program that unites Albanians in improving their social and economic lives: from well-being, employment, and healthcare to education and opportunities for youth.

“Our nation has lost its youth; we have the lowest birthrate in the world. Six hundred thousand young people have left in the last 10 years. We must do everything to restore this country’s future,” Berisha stated.

He promised support for youth through five years of tax exemption for businesses, soft loans for housing and economic activity, doubling the education budget, removing barriers to university access, and a 30,000-euro grant for newly married couples.

“Their dreams are the future of Albania. We owe this country its youth, and nothing will stop us from bringing them back home,” Berisha concluded.
