Sali Berisha has just left his house, 30 minutes ahead of the protest called by him.

The former leader of the Democrats called for self-restraint, as he declared that the protest is an “entirely peaceful movement”.

Berisha said not to be aware of the incident that had taken place earlier when the crowd stopped Roland Bejko from entering the party’s headquarters and called on protesters to keep calm and determined to achieve the objectives.

He also added that a police intervention would mean that they are under the directives of PM Edi Rama.

“Basha lives in his fantasies. He has no authority over any of the Colleges, nor party forums”, said the former DP head.

Just shortly before arriving at the DP, Berisha called on Basha to open the doors and leave after losing four times in the elections.
