The leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha declared on Monday that Prime Minister Edi Rama should have gone to Kosovo as an official who has condemned the genocide committed by Serbs.
In a press conference from the party’s headquarters, Berisha said genocide denial is like ‘stepping on the souls and the blood of the victims’.
“If Edi Rama knew their suffering and sacrifice in the last 150 years he would have gone to Kosovo after recognizing the genocide, acknowledging the infanticide of 1,400 angels, innocent beings that were slaughtered and burned just because they had Albanian parents”, Berisha said.
This Monday, the Prime Minister and his cabinet are in Prishtina to attend the 8th intergovernmental meeting with Kosovo.
