DP’s Commission of Refoundation led by former PM Sali Berisha gathered earlier today in order to comment on yesterday’s developments.
Berisha thanked all Democrats who protested yesterday, while accusing Lulzim Basha of using violence.
“I came here in order to speak in the name of the Provisional Refoundation Commission of the Democratic Party and extend our warmest greetings and incomparable gratitude for all the heroes of January 8, who took upon themselves a historical mission, with courage, wisdom and levelheadedness that characterizes a Democratic majority, who proved to all Albanians that Lulzim Basha represents a grave enemy to all Albanian Democrats,” – said Berisha.
In addition, he said that no one and nothing can prevent the reign of people’s willpower.
“Our presence here, is a pledge that nothing will ever be able to hamper or prevent the consolidation of political pluralism in Albania,” – said Berisha.
