Journalist Eduard Zaloshnja said that based on a poll conducted by him if the elections were held a week ago, Berisha’s candidate would win Shkoder by a landslide.
During his interview on NOW with Erla Mehilli, Zaloshnja maintained that based on the data retrieved from a poll which included 2.600 interviews in 6 municipalities that will participate in the upcoming by-elections on March 6, the one that wins from the current rift amongst Democrats is the Socialist Party, which according to him, has the chance in 5 municipalities.
According to Zaloshnja, if the opposition was more united, the chances for them to win in Diber would be greater and their difference with SP in the municipality of Durres would have been much closer.
“In Shkoder, the candidate of the Home of Freedom had a clear difference compared to DP’s and SP’s candidates whereas in all other municipalities they had a slight difference. That is why it will be easy for SP’s candidates to win because DP is divided,” – said Zaloshnja.
