The US embassy in Tirana has released an announcement earlier today advising its citizens to be careful in regards to tonight’s protest called by former PM Sali Berisha.

The embassy also called on American citizens to avoid large gatherings, because ‘acts on unpredicted violence’ can take place during these protests.

“Follow directions of local authorities closely. Avoid large gatherings in the area where the protest will be staged and be careful of those around you,”- stated the notice.

Demonstrators, who answered to Berisha’s call to protest, gathered in front of DP’s headquarters before heading to the main boulevard, where apart from holding signs against Vucic, they called on Basha to leave.

They have now gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where main political actors will give their speeches.
