Head of diplomacy in North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, visited Ukraine as a sign of solidarity and support for the resistance of the Ukrainian people.

In addition, during his visit, he symbolically reopened North Macedonia’s embassy in Ukraine.

“The destruction we witnessed today is beyond what could be said in words. The attacks against civilians are completely unjustified and the aggressor should be held accountable. North Macedonia has been clear and it has condemned the unprovoked aggression from Russia while also showing solidarity for Ukraine, its army, and its people,” – said Osmani.

The Ukrainian foreign minister, Dmitro Kuleba, offered his support for North Macedonia in its euro-integration process.

He also called for a public condemnation of the Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Osmani is the second high official from North Macedonia who visits Ukraine these months.

Earlier, it was the Macedonian head of parliament, Talat Xhaferi, who paid a visit to the war-struck nation.
