“Hashim Thaci is today at The Hague due to his actions as president when he entered those ideas about territorial exchanges, something that was opposed by many countries, including Germany”.
This was the stance of analyst Andi Bushati on Tuesday, as he emphasized that this “scandalous plan” was assembled at the same table with Albanian PM Edi Rama and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
“I believe Thaci is at The Hague today because he wanted to lay mines in the Balkans, together with Rama and Vucic, when they entered that venture on exchanging territories, which was opposed by many countries, including Germany”, said Bushati.
Rama’s approach toward the international justice system in Thaci’s process is “a mere hypocrisy”, according to Bushati.
“All Rama has said since Thaci resigned is that he does not recognize this process. But those who oversee this process are Brussels and the Department of State, who are also the ones doing the justice reform in Albania. The prime minister of my country cannot be such a hypocrite with international justice”, he added.
According to the analyst, Rama must explain to people whether he went to visit Thaci as a friend, or as the head of the Albanian government.
