Christmas Mass was held under strict anti-COVID measures for the second year in a row due to the pandemic. In Tirana, believers participated in the midnight mass as well as today’s afternoon mass, wishing everyone on this significant day in the Christian calendar.
Meanwhile, the Christmas even mass was also held in Shkoder. The participation rate was quite high, which speaks to the massive significance this day holds in people’s lives.
Angelo Massafra, the Archbishop of the Metropolis Shkoder-Pult held a speech during which he extended his message of hope and said that this is a good time for all of us, to act in solidarity with one another.
“Let us free ourselves from personal interests, too personal, and let our hearts feel more solidarity. Jesus is teaching us how to be more like him and help others, especially those in need,” – said Archbishop Angelo Massafra.
