On Friday, citizens gathered on Friday at the Skanderbeg Square in Tirana to show support for Ukraine.
The rally was joined by a wide range of citizens, including young students, who were seen holding the Ukrainian flag.

Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj and US Ambassador Yuri Kim were also seen marching for Ukraine.
According to sources near the Ukrainian Embassy in Tirana, several citizens have even shown interest in joining the war.
However, this may be highly unlikely due to a law that makes participation in a foreign war an offense punishable by up to 8 years in jail.
