The State Election Commission filed a lawsuit based on a report on people who voted twice at the general elections held this year in April.

During Friday’s meeting, the Central Election Commission decided to report 67 ballot counters for allegedly manipulating votes in favor of a candidate, in addition to other abuses that took place in the process.

State Commission Ilirjan Celibashi said that violations were noticed during the post-election verification period.

A few months ago, Celibashi declared that all irregularities will be reported to the Prosecution and subject to a criminal proceeding.

The head of CEC added that 97% of the voters were identified via the electronic ID system.
